New College Berkeley hosts a Faith and Film Night on “The Best of Times.”
Obsessed by a one-time crucial failure in his youth, a star athlete works to relive the moment. The process becomes transformative and redemptive for himself and others. Starring Robin Williams. Film selected and conversation moderated by Rev. Dr. Tom Elson, Mission Pastor at First Presbyterian Church of Berkeley.
About the Faith & Film series:
The series will examine the potent and relevant medium of film in exploring themes of love, faith, conscience, evil, death, reception, grace, morality, identity, and our yearning for the sacred.
