The successful candidate will have passion for and personal alignment with Anselm House’s mission and vision. She or he will have demonstrated success in team leadership and management, project management, and implementation of strategies and best practices in development. Ideally, the candidate will have three or more years of experience in development and an up-to-date knowledge of the science and art of donor engagement and relationship stewardship. This position requires strong organization and event management skills, plus an ability to manage multiple activities and deadlines concurrently. The successful candidate will have a warm and inviting personality and be able to connect personally with others. A bachelor’s degree or equivalent is required.

The Center for Christianity and Scholarship is seeking an Undergrad Program Director. The position is charged with overseeing and growing programs in Christian studies for undergraduates at Duke University. The person in this position thinks strategically about program development, is a skilled project manager, and enjoys leading people on a Christian academic journey. The position manages CCS’s summer programs, including the travel experiences and a faith and work internship program, supports faculty who teach courses with CCS, advises students on course selection and participation in summer programs, and stewards the community of students engaged in the life of CCS, including in extra-curricular groups and cohorts and events at the CCS House. The formation aspects of the role include helping students work out their faith in college academics and their future vocations, helping students make decisions on their academic journey, and connecting students to faculty, academic opportunities, and life at the CCS house. Ideal candidates are strategic thinkers and project managers who have a desire and capacity to scale academic programs, while also being welcoming and highly relational with students. Organization, advanced planning, and attention to detail are invaluable qualities for these positions. The University proposes to appoint a new McDonald Post-Doctoral Fellow in Christian Ethics & Public Life. The McDonald Fellow will be a member of the Faculty of Theology & Religion and be attached to the McDonald Centre for Theology, Ethics, and Public Life. The appointment is tenable from the point of appointment onwards or as soon as possible thereafter (ideally before September 2025). This is a fixed-term position for four years (renewable for a further year upon review). It is designed to provide a career development opportunity for an outstanding scholar at an early stage in their career. The McDonald Fellow will have access to a Faculty research allowance, which is currently £1,500 per annum. The successful candidate will also be offered membership of the Senior Common Room at Christ Church (which confers a number of privileges).

This lectureship, generously funded by the McDonald Agape Foundation, is intended to develop the career of a highly promising scholar by providing opportunities for academic research, teaching and collaborative work in Applied Theology and associated fields (such as pastoral theology, practical theology, or contextual theology). The Lecturer will be expected to play an active role in the teaching of undergraduate and graduate courses and academic administration of the Faculty of Theology and Religion and Wycliffe Hall. The successful candidate will be joining the faculty at a key moment for development of its teaching and research in applied, practical, and pastoral theology. With the arrival of a new Regius Professor in Moral and Pastoral Theology, and following a thoroughgoing review of the Master of Theology (MTh), this role provides an opportunity to make a tangible long-term impact in the study of Religion and Theology as vibrant historic and contemporary realities.

PURPOSE & GENERAL REQUIREMENTS: The Executive Director advances the mission of the Christian Scholars Network/Bradley Study Center (BSC) by casting vision, setting priorities, developing funding, as well as overseeing all aspects of operations and the religious mission for which the corporation is organized. The Executive Director reports to the BSC Board of Directors.
