Headlines on the Terrace (HOT)

Headlines on the Terrace (HOT) is a casual gathering for those who want to wade into deep topics in the news, buoyed by good company, great conversation, and sharp Christian thinking on the cool side of Lake Mendota. 

Theologian Karl Barth suggested that a Christian should be found with a newspaper in one hand and a Bible in the other. As we enjoy refreshments on the Memorial Union Terrace, we will freely converse about the news, ask questions, and consider different angles of our reading in light of a Christian perspective. Friends of friends are welcome to join us!

Each of the conversations will focus on a news article, to which you will receive a link a few days before we meet. Drop-ins are welcome, and we will welcome you regardless if you complete the reading!
