DESCRIPTION:Join Anselm House for a healthcare retreat on “A Just & Loving Gaze: Vision & Virtue in Healthcare.” \n\n\n\n\n\nThe philosopher and mystic Simone Weil once wrote\, “Attention is the rarest and purest form of generosity.” To attend to something is to approach it with a just and loving eye\, and to perceive it in its utter particularity and complexity and so as it truly is. How can we learn to see the world and\, especially\, our patients in this way? What sort of spiritual practices can help cultivate this way of seeing and being in the world? And what difference might it make in our lives as healthcare professionals? \nThis 24-hour healthcare retreat will be held at the beautiful Mount Olivet Retreat and Conference Center located in Farmington\, MN (just 45 minutes south of the Twin Cities).
